Pre-launch draft. Retainr is preparing its first pilot. Phone number, form endpoint, and email shown here are placeholders.
About

Lawyers should practice law, not answer intake calls.

Retainr started with a simple observation from inside a law firm: attorneys billing hundreds of dollars an hour were answering intake calls and filling in forms, and calls they couldn't pick up were going to voicemail.

Why we exist

Firms told us two things. They lose potential clients when nobody picks up. And they've tried answering services and phone bots that frustrate callers and get the details wrong.

So we're building the intake desk we'd want calling in: an AI that's actually useful, legally trained people one word away, and a conflict check done right, all for one flat price.

What we believe

  • Callers deserve a real answer, not a phone tree.
  • AI should be honest about being AI.
  • A person should always be one word away.
  • Conflict checks come before facts.
  • Pricing should never touch a firm's legal fees.

Attorney-advised

Our intake scripts, conflict fields, and escalation rules are designed with input from a practicing attorney, and our contracts and scripts are being reviewed by independent ethics counsel before our first paid engagement.

Pilot first, then grow

We're starting with a small group of business law firms as design partners and will publish real, measured results once we have them, with each firm's permission.

Retainr is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. We provide intake services to law firms, which supervise our work and make every decision about representation.

Hear it for yourself.

Call the demo line and try to stump it: ask for a person, mention a deadline, name five parties to a deal. Or book a 20-minute walkthrough.
